Pedro Gutzman, Marketing Director for ONVISA and Carlos Garcia Delgado, Director of Tourism (Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico) are presented the Canadian Flag by Rose Dyson. The presentation occurred during the reception for the inaugural Mexicana flight from Toronto to Morelia in March 2005. C-Cave and the International Holistic Tourism Education Centre are working with the Mexican tourism community to try to utilize the onboard televisions of tour buses to show travelogues of the country rather than violent films.

Dr. Laura Westra, C-Cave member, Prof. Emeritus in Philosophy, University of Windsor, PhD candidate on Environmental Law at Osgoode Hall Law School, author and co-author of numerous books and the co-co-ordinator of the Conference on Global Ecological Governance for Eco-justice and Public Health in Montreal, Quebec July 11-13, 2004.

The July conference had an international flavour beyond Canada and the US with attendees from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and South Korea.
